Antique & Classic Boats & Cars, examples of classic and traditional vessels, workboats, and fiberglass and aluminum classics will all be on display from until 4:00 pm. Studebakers, Model A’s, T’s , Chevys and more. Plus a large display of antique outboard engines.
Boat building demonstration throughout the day by local boat builders
The Apalachicola Traders’ Canoe, a hand built 50-foot long vessel used between 1750-1850, recovered from the Apalachicola River will be on display at the Cotton Warehouse

The Dept of Environmental Protection will be on hand to give out information on the Clean Boating Program.
The Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve will have a booth on area flora and fauna.
The Apalachicola RiverKeeper will have information on the special qualities of our unique pristine river and bay system
Apalachicola Art & Wine Walk
Location: Downtown
Art in all forms will be woven in and around picturesque downtown Apalachicola where artists and musicians will be showing, selling, and demonstrating their talents from 11:00-6:00 pm. The festivities continue into the evening with a wine tasting at 3:00 pm. The Autos and Oysters Car Show will showcase the cars of local collectors and will also attract enthusiasts from throughout the region. The show will be followed by a sock hop on the City Docks featuring local refreshments, music, and oysters. The Sock Hop will be held at Riverfront Park, and the Car Show will be held on Water Street. Both events are free and open to the public.

Historic Apalachicola Annual Christmas Celebration

The Historic Apalachicola Christmas Celebration will light up Apalachicola on November 28th. From 6:00-9:00 p.m. the streets of downtown Apalachicola will be lined with luminaries and filled with holiday spirit. Merchants will be open late and the sounds of carolers will echo through the streets filling the evening with Christmas spirit. The highlight, of course, will be the big guy himself. Santa will arrive on a shrimp boat at 6:00 p.m. at the City Dock on Water Street, across from City Hall. Santa will hear children’s Christmas wishes and carolers will sing.
